In this paper, I wanna give the little information about Compound Sentence in Syntax ..
Syntax is ?
Syntax is a study of the grammatical structure in which the format of words and phrases, clauses and punctuations are arranged to make a sentence.
What is Compound Sentence?
Compound Sentence is one of Types Sentence in Syntax. Compound Sentence usually consists of two or more simple sentences joined into a Single Sentence. And it may be joined by a Coordinating Conjunction in the Sentence.
Coordinating Conjuctions, there are :
1. And
2. But
3. For
4. Nor
5. Or
6. Yet
7. So

The Examples :
- Which one do you like Coffee or Tea ?

-Your writing is well-structured but you need to change several things.
3. For
Example :
- I cannot go out this weekend for my car is broken.
-For buying those well-known breads, I have been waiting in line for 2 hours.
-Ria cannot attend my wedding party for she needs to accompany her father in hospital.
4. Nor
Example :
-Lia does not attend class today, nor did I.
-Henry is not in the office, nor is Cindy.
-My neighbour does not go to Brastagi due to Sinabung eruption, nor do we.
5. Yet
Example :
-Kevin got red marks in all of his subjects, yet he still does not want to study.
-Rendy’s father is a swimmer, yet Rendy cannot swim.
-Kyla has a beautiful voice, yet she does not like singing.

Example :
-She wants to go swimming or play badminton in the evening.
-Do you like to eat fried chicken or hamburger?
-Do you want to accompany your mother to the hospital or take care of your younger siblings at home?
7. So
Example :
-I am late for class so I better be hurry.
-Deni have no time to fetch you from school so you should take a cab home.
-It is going to be raining soon so I better bring an umbrella.
And these examples of all Coordinating Conjunction.
